More and more frequently i stumble across links to various Invidious instances. Instead of opening the link with NewPipe it gets opened in the browser. Which is not as bad of an experience as YouTube but still a worse experience than watching the video in NewPipe.
TL;DR: Is there a way to make NewPipe open links from various Invidious instances?

I use UntrackMe from F-Droid which redirects links like YT and Reddit to their privacy respecting alternatives. To use it, I click and hold a link then select to open it in an external app. I’d think this should work for NewPipe as well as UntrackMe if you’re using Android
I was posting links to various instances before but now I know about redirect I hope that works for you
open the link and select watch on youtube and it should behave like normal.
Isn’t this os related? I have tot add the urls to ‘open with’ new pipe in lineage os for instance.
