I think everyone who has been paying attention saw this coming. Now so-called “socialist” Hasan Piker is putting out CNN level liberal propaganda. Even western polling had to admit that Putin enjoyed an approval rating above 80% just prior to the election, but of course when you have demonized Russia to this degree you have to resort to reality denial to explain what you see.
We need to start using the term “red liberal” to describe these “leftist” political streamers and YouTubers who mimick the aesthetics and language of leftism while feeding into imperialist dogma and liberal assumptions about the world. Hasan also continues to deny the Donbass genocide that had been taking place since 2014 before Russia finally intervened, refuses to accept that Russia had legitimate reason to take action to stop NATO eastward expansion, and downplays the Nazi nature of the Kiev regime.
Now after he made fun of all the dumbass chuds who insisted in 2020 that the US election was stolen and made up all kinds of conspiracy theories to try and justify it, Hasan himself engages in the same kind of behavior when it comes to Russian elections. This is the kind of “socialist” who will act like they are not Democrat shills by superficially criticizing Genocide Joe yet continue to advocate that you vote for Democrats as the “lesser evil”.
It is good though that since 2022 all of these sheepdogs for liberal imperialism have been exposing themselves. Now we know where the lines are drawn. Once again Lenin’s words ring true:

As a long-time youtube watcher I can provide insight: Because there’s fuck all else to watch that isn’t outright nazi shit. YT has a long and storied history of shadowbanning genuine socialist creators while boosting creeps and nazis up the algorithm. There’s a reason so many youtube stars get outed as predators, because you literally aren’t allowed to get big on the platform unless you have serious baggage.
Linus TechTips went from a minor channel to a media empire the instant he started outing himself as a nazi, now he’s been rehabilitated as a liberal. Lets just put this into prospective how bad it is: youtube is currently embroiled in a legal battle because they knowingly protected and boosted THREE notorious predators on their platform WHILE THEY WERE GROOMING THEIR CHILD AUDIENCE!! Like holy actual shit! If that doesn’t sum up youtube’s priorities IDK what would. We’re talking a company that facilitated basically every neo-nazi mass movement.

First of all, what? LTT is a Nazi? That is a genuine question, because I haven’t followed him from the start, so I don’t know about his career and how he became popular.
Second of all, while it is good to have as many left-wing YouTubers/Twitch streamers as possible, people deserve much more than Hasan fucking Piker. If you imply what I think you’re implying, I don’t think just because he has left-wing political views we should forget about how fucking awful and ignorant he is.
There are a lot of great people on the platform, not compared to the fucking shit show of other content creators, but still, I’m glad that they’re here. And losing Hasan won’t make a difference to how popular our beliefs and views are in the world, because being represented by him only harms our image.
Yes, he might have inspired some people to read theory or watch more socialist content, but, in my opinion, he causes more harm than good.
I might have been okay if he used the money he is earning to fund big projects that could push socialist content to another level, but no! He is wasting it, the golden opportunity to spread his ideas through original and high quality videos, to instead spend it on his mansion and new cars.
I hate him.
Yeah I watched them back when they were a small channel, then stopped after he said something overtly fash. Then like not even a week later people were making memes about him and that’s when I knew what was going on. Next I hear of him he’s a massive channel and openly identifies as a liberal, and the next time I hear about him it’s about how he treats everyone like shit and PR-washes his shitty behavior.
I’m not trying to say they’re any good, i’m trying to say the bar is on the floor and you have to dig (many channels do) to get over it because youtube is a fascist cesspit. If he was gone they’d fill the ben shibibo callout video with an actual ben shibibo video because that’s how their “passively protect pedonazis, actively suppress socialists” algorithm works. Until youtube is usurped that’s really the best we can get.
Your hatred of Hasan is valid, and is proof that you’ve matured as a person past just tolerating the center.
