When the government cuts spending it reduces tax income so if the Government still wants to force a fiscal surplus (as Milei wants) the only way to do so is more austerity.
So either Milei Government is overthrown or external help through IMF (who also want a balanced budget) comes in or Argentina falls further and further into poverty.
