I agree that it should be easier to hold companies accountable within Canada, unfortunately we don’t even do a good job of that. Our government encourages bad practices, and even uses public funds to clean up after the companies instead of making them pay for it. Of course, abuses these companies do abroad are even worse. I think the whole industry should be nationalized and held to a much higher standard.
