Well yes, it is a sad state of affairs that large swaths of politicians will ignore or double down against a fact check. But with that said, I’m not letting them off the hook for the initial twisting of facts. Just acknowledging when they have the right response.

There’s no indication Biden was referring to that Tweet. For that matter, the White House Twitter account is likely run by its own PR staff that isn’t going to asking Biden’s speechwriters to taking out some silly vendetta against Twitter’s Context system.

Yeah, the statement just coincidentally got published right after the white house got fact checked by Twitter. And obviously Biden doesn’t actually do anything himself. He barely knows where he is at this point. The point is that the statement is what got officially published using his name.

Most politicians have better things to do than be on Twitter all day. Trump was an aberration in that sense.

He barely knows where he is at this point.

LOL. That’s been floating around the right wing conspiracy sites, but I didn’t think you indulged.

The Independent posted that because that’s what factually happened. Just because something gets published in right wing media doesn’t make it automatically false. There is a ton of footage of Biden ambling about seemingly unaware of his surroundings. There is even an episode at G7 where his wife had to usher hims out some restaurant he stumbled into.
