BTW the UK is technically an absolute theocracy like the Vatican, because the crown is the leader of the Church of England (basically the pope but for English Protestantism) and nothing parliament does matters if the crown doesn’t sign off on it. The queen could technically have just decided one day that there will no separation of church and state or democracy.
