    It’s a great neutral pronoun, but it can sound like you are referring to multiple people depending on how you use it.

      Yeah we need a dedicated genderless singular third-person pronoun.

      The only thing that comes to mind is “it” but that tends to dehumanize people.

        I wish we could just manually change english. Forget all gendered pronouns because they shouldn’t even need to specify. Just animate/inanimate singular/plural.
