California requires many transgender women to be housed in men’s prisons, where they are more likely to be sexually assaulted. State legislators are on the brink of passing a bill to change that.
Abso-fucking-lutely did I just make that up. Which is why I wrote that it’s a possibility, not a matter of fact.
But I also did not claim that there is a higher rate of trans women sexually assaulting cis women, I only claimed that they tend to have a stronger physique and could use that to their advantage, if they sexually assault cis women.
Well, I did also write “It’s not like women with stronger physique are a brand new concept”. :P
I tried to make my comment bullet-proof, because I knew someone in here would get offended by, well, the idea that a trans person could be a criminal.
They’re “one of us”, so they can’t be a bad person, is an easy fallacy to fall victim to.
But they are in prison, so unless we’re questioning the entire judicial system in California (which definitely can be questioned), we kind of have to assume that they are at least a criminal.
