    After reading the article, she is in Russia. I’m sure she will receive the best care moscow has to offer, which is still better than a lot of people.

      That’s true. Russia does have really good doctors - if you have money. And you have to be able to withstand yelling and belittling but as a Russian you get used to that.

        A friend of mine is truggling with that. I wouldn’t have thought that Moscow’s health care was so shitty. I was for some reason expecting the opposite.

          I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope they find some qualified care soon. Is the problem the access (money, status) or can’t they find proper treatment for other reasons?

        There was a great show about Russian healthcare a while back. Can’t recall the name, but it had Jon Hamm and Harry Potter in it.

          A young doctor’s notebook - based on a Russian novel from Michael Bulgakov. I’m so sad they discontinued it 😭 I think about it once a week at least!

          But it takes place around WWI, so… Not exactly a 1:1 portrayal of Russian medicine today
