Lemmy is a decentralized platform created by and for communists. It’s political by default.
It is not by and for communists. Just because the main dev of a project adheres to a certain ideology it doesn’t mean everyone adheres to that ideology. In fact the communist section of lemmy is pretty much defederated from the rest
