If you have a decent system and looking for good modern games with kickass graphics try out Dying Light and Tomb Raider.
There’s a bunch of others, I like to play the native ones and purchase them to support vendors that are putting all the time & effort into making them Linux native.

It’s old but I always really liked WARSAW it was/is a quake3 port but with more cartoony outline graphics similar to Borderlands style.
Linuxmint here for 14yrs or so. Hopped around a lot but have been using LM as my primary OS and daily driver for personal, work AND gaming. (proton is a god send)
EDIT - to clarify I’ve been consistently on LM now for about 3yrs, not too bad.
