9 months ago@RareBird_15 @mastoblind @accessibility @main my laptop was getting really slow with windows 10 and also not applicable to upgrade to 11. I downloaded Linux Mint and put it on a usb. Went into my bios so that it would select the usb. You can then run Linux mint from the usb to test for funnies. I then installed Linux mint from that usb. My laptop runs fast faster for all the everyday things I require like web browsing, documents and mail.
@RareBird_15 @mastoblind @accessibility @main the trickiest bit was with bios and all the options to pick up the usb. Also the first burner I tried to put Linux mint on the usb didn’t work so I had to use a different burner - sorry can’t remember what it was - but I can have a look
