Wasn’t he the lead singer/bassist for Motorhead? 😆

So far this year I have gone Twitter -> Mastodon and now Reddit -> Lemmy. Not all the people/subs I used to interact with have moved, but I don’t miss them - well maybe some of the games subs but I’m sure at some point they’ll appear. In general more than happy with the move :)

This puts Britain to shame. How does this person sleep at night? Maybe he doesn’t and spends the time thinking up more horrendous ways to demonise human beings in order to satisfy their paymasters. One imagines that Braverman is currently saying “hold my pint”… More decline in my once great nation.

I moved due to the large increase in my subscription cost. I’d been using Evernote for many years and been quite happy with the multi device sync and browser capture. But I was no where near a ‘heavy user’ and I probably could have got by with the free tier but… I decided to look around at what the options were and well… here I am. Bear gives me all the functionality I used to use in Evernote at a cheaper price, plus it looks great. My only issue so far is that images I put into notes on my iPhone don’t sync across my devices - they’re just the ‘placeholder’ image, and if I go back to the iPhone the image is also the placeholder… Images added on my MacBook or iPad are OK.
