Your instance can only have one guarantee, but you can have the guarantor be changed.
@halm@leminal.space Diaspora only federates with Friendica (because the latter has diaspora protocol support). Friendica doesn’t have its “own protocol”, it uses ActivityPub with its own proprietary extensions IIRC.
