it’s all preference right. Some games i’ve been playing mouse and keyboard for like 10 years and it’s super hard for me, as a non console gamer, to adapt to the steam deck. Other games that I have never played on the pc I’m having very little issue playing on the steam deck. So it just depends on your experience as a gamer and your experience with a specific game. civ is another game that is just impossible for me to play on the steam deck because of the control scheme. I’m sure the control scheme is fine, i just can’t get used to it after like 1200 hours in civ6 with a keyboard and mouse.

oh man…even the original xcom game is still a ton of fun. it came out in like 94? it’s a turn based strategy game with economy building, resource management, etc. xCom, terror from the deep, and then the 2 modern games are fantastic. the other games in the series…we don’t talk about those games

it should be fine, your limiting factor is going to be number of transcode streams. When a plex client connects to a plex server and tries to stream a video the client and server will talk and discuss what formats the client can accept and if the video is not in that format the plex server will transcode it on the fly to a format that the client can play. The more powerful the machine the more transcoding streams it can handle at once. But realistically do you need more than like 2 or 3 at most? probably not.
