Yeah, it works but as of now requires to rewrite few hundred lines of python to connect to Lemmy API
I was hoping to find an easy guide to generate a simple GCal / CalDav link or ICS file from a post. This way one doesn’t need to write/test/deploy/maintain code and could use it right from the get-go
I’ll link the guide to this reply once I come across it

I mean, of course gallery of a phone going to be littered with household stuff. All good photos of you and your family should go to the appropriate storage directory.
Instead, mobile device storage is very well suited to temporary photos that are not scary to loose. One has to keep in mind that photos of value on the phone will be irrecoverably destroyed in case of phone malfunction/drowning.
Don’t forget to make backup, kids
Thank you, I appreciate this sentiment. I think every article talking about RISC-V should state clear that it’s not truly open – same way article about CPUs must include a disclaimer that Xnanometer fab process is a lie marketing term.
However, at the end of the day, when my 15 y.old phone dies from the old age, I would like to replace it with more open hardware i.e. vote with my own wallet for openness. I can’t wait RISC-VI that will open up more of its design – when it does, i’m gonna buy a second phone, rpi or anything that can sell me
Currently RISC-V is our champion. For now gotta stick with it and to make it more mainstream before raising the bar of openness.
For now I just wanna be able to convince my friends and family to spend their hard earned cash into more open CPU ISA without making their lives unnecessarily difficult
Yes, Android is not truly open, yes, RISCV isn’t truly open either. However, both projects made a significant step into good direction and I would like to reward them for that
At this timeline there’s no true Scotsman – except mr. Stallman. For some reason he’s not a household name yet. Gotta go one step at the time, shall we?
I mean, sure, no problem, risc is already supported by Linux. What’s left is billion dollar corporation to make it mainstream (pray the lord, oh mighty st Gabe 🙏)
But while the lord is at work, one gotta be able to install banking apps, offline maps and all other apps optimized for mobile.
Despite my deepest support for Linux on mobile, personally I can’t port for mobile every app each of my friends and family use

btw, just to let folks know – there’s a similar community from our federation friends !Videos@nrsk.no
I really would like to take this video seriously but I can’t. The author proposes radical idea; assumes that the idea is real and raves on and on about instances of the idea he deems appropriate.
he keeps trying to scare the viewer with these instances without actually proving that the idea has something to do with them.
This one prompts for lots of meta questions:
I’m curious but unsure. Does anyone care to share their experience with the show?
I tried to post it again but the link doesn’t seem to be working. Is it your own website?
