I’ve used it for 5 years on iOS with zero issues at all. Set it to ‘Move’ and you will get great resolution.

Lots of people saying mealie or tandoor, so I’ll say Grocy. I don’t use it for every single food item but mainly for spices and frozen items and the recipe functionality is pretty good.
Sucks that it isn’t available in the ios app though.
I’m not proud but after 3 hours in part 2 I had to look up help. I was trying to do it using recursion and it was not working at all.
Even after watching a couple of videos and reading code I’m not sure why part 2 works as it does 😭
I don’t normally code so this is like my yearly training 😂
This was honestly the “easiest” day so far for me.
I’ve worked a lot with 2d array processing in my graduate days (studying image processing and computer graphics) so I had an idea what to do and I didn’t run in to any weird edge cases.
Isn’t gramps a desktop app? It would make more sense to use Webtrees when using a VPS, which can be accessed over the web with login.
https://gitea.baerentsen.space/FrederikBaerentsen/AdventOfCode/src/branch/master/2023 doing it in python.
Todays puzzle wasn’t too bad. Part 1 was definitely longer than part 2.
Yes. I’ve tried all the available clients.
I have two main issues:
The appletv app isn’t as smooth and fast as plex. It is hard to convince my wife to switch when the user experience is not as good.
No profile fast switch. Unlike any other streaming service (Plex included) jellyfin doesn’t offer a list of profiles on startup to select who’s watching. This is a huge issue for me, as my wife, son and I uses the same devices with our own profiles.
Personally I think nextcloud is bloated with too many extra things. I’ve been using Seafile for 5+ years and it’s been great.
Take a look at the calculations here https://www.arqbackup.com/aws-glacier-pricing.html
It explains it a bit better. You have to factor in how many requests you need too. So both file sizes and amount of files.
If everyone you text with are on iPhone anyway, there’s no logical reason to switch iMessage off and use SMS.
Never personally had any issues with iMessage (not sure which parts you think “suck” and are “unstable”).
80% of my contacts use iMessage, the rest use Signal.
Auto play on the TV setting or in the Disney+ settings? Never heard of any streaming apps respecting the TV settings. Generally I’ve had to make all changes in the corresponding apps and if they don’t have an option for it, it wasn’t possible. Disney+ has generally had kids profile not autoplay the next episode but adult profiles it does.
Maybe Volumio can work? It’s some time since I last tried it.
Sounds like you need the Uno https://keyhive.xyz/shop/uno-single-key-keyboard
Probably the keyboard I use the most (lots of macros on a single key)
I love the extra B on my Alice but when using Corne I keep wanting to press B with my right hand, which I shouldn’t 😂
Love Fira Code but recently switched to https://typeof.net/Iosevka/ and it’s equally great.
Never done one before and I’m not an English speaker but it wasn’t too hard and I got 4:18
Absolutely love my Uno keyboard for this https://keyhive.xyz/shop/uno-single-key-keyboard
Got like 6 commands on a single key and one of them is to press shift every 30seconds so my computer doesn’t lock. Lifesaver.
This is a copy of an older comment of mine:
Everything is tagged and organized using Picard. I use a modified version of https://community.metabrainz.org/t/repository-for-neat-file-name-string-patterns-and-tagger-script-snippets/2786/156.
I’ve been meaning to write a guide for how it works. My current WIP script can be found here: https://gitea.baerentsen.space/FrederikBaerentsen/DataHoarder_scripts/src/branch/master/Picard.txt
My files is setup like:
~/Music/A/Artist/(YYYY) Title [Type - Format] [MusicBrainz ID]/[side] Title [length][Bandwidth].ext
eg:
/Music/Q/Queen/(1973) Queen [12 Inch Vinyl - FLAC] [1783da6a-9315-3602-a488-1738eb733a0f]
/A1. Keep Yourself Alive [3m48s][320+ 48000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
/B1. Liar [6m26s][320+ 48000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
/Music/B/Bruce Springsteen/(2019) Western Stars [CD - FLAC] [a50ffce7-0532-41a7-b85b-7d02f8c7af00]
/01. Hitch Hikin' [3m38s][320+ 96000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
/02. The Wayfarer [4m18s][320+ 96000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
if the album isn’t a studio album, theres an extra folder. eg:
/Music/B/Bruce Springsteen/Compilation/(1996) The Lost Masters I_ Alone in Colts Neck (The Complete Nebraska Session) [CD - FLAC] [8531e427-495a-443a-8fc3-0dd2ef459c93]
/01. Nebraska [4m27s][320+ 44100KHz VBR 2ch].flac
/Music/P/Phil Collins/Singles/(1981) In the Air Tonight [7 Inch Vinyl - FLAC] [e805dd53-9257-4c78-8bff-a95f0cdd767e]
/A. In the Air Tonight [5m29s][320+ 96000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
I have special categories for:
Compilations
Cover
Tribute
Singles
Live
EP
If an album contains multiple disks, there’s an extra folder. Eg:
/Music/M/Michael Jackson/Compilation/(2004) The Ultimate Collection [CD - FLAC] [2d37b204-ed26-3795-9710-1514f0fd931a]
/Disc 1
/01. I Want You Back [3m00s][320+ 44100KHz VBR 2ch].flac
For soundtracks it’s:
~/Music/Soundtrack/T/(YYYY) Title [Type - Format] [MusicBrainz ID]/[side] Title [length][Bandwidth].ext
eg.
/Music/Soundtrack/L/(2001) The Lord of the Rings_ The Fellowship of the Ring - The Complete Recordings [Digital Media - FLAC] [cad73ae7-5966-4de1-bad4-4a603891fd27]
/Disk 1/01. Prologue_ One Ring To Rule Them All [7m15s][320+ 48000KHz VBR 2ch].flac
Been using this for 3+ years and it’s solid.
I’ll try and make a better write up at some point and share my script.
This setup also works flawlessly with Plex + Prism. I run Picard in a docker container and access it over web, so it can run on my headless Debian server.
Both middle school and high school in Denmark are required to use computers for Danish, English, German etc exams. It’s used for essays and other tests. It’s been like this since the early 2000.
