I mostly agree. I don’t care about the Spock/Chapel thing, but I thought the weird fight scene where a doctor and nurse are beating the shit out of dozens of Klingons was silly. I also thought it was weird for Spock to steal the Enterprise at this stage in his career. I guess it makes sense with the whole emotions stuff discussed in the episode, but I assumed younger Spock would be more rigid. I also get tired of the whole “jump out of the ship and hope someone saves you in the short time you have to live” trope. Until someone can top how Hitchhiker’s Guide handled it, they should stop.
I don’t know that I’d say it was bad exactly, but it was definitely a weaker SNW episode in my book.
