Y’all have to let the DNC go. They are never going to do what is right for the people.

It’s time for a new party. How many times are we going to watch them fail us before we make a change?

Y’all are like Charlie Brown running up to kick the football right before Lucy pulls it away.

We’ve seen them fail us time and time again on issues that they absolutely had the power to fix.

This is the party of corporate interests. They don’t care about us. They’ve completely abandoned any platform of universal healthcare, they don’t give a flying fuck about the environment, and their border policy is worse than Trump’s somehow.

By repeatedly and blindly voting blue no matter who, we are enabling them to never make any changes for the good.

It’s absolutely absurd how no one mentioned how regressive Harris’s platform actually was.

Zero mention of universal healthcare. She acted like that concept doesn’t even exist. America needs healthcare in the worst way. My girlfriend has diabetes and it’s so rough to pay for it all.

She also basically sprinted backwards in terms of fighting climate change. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing when she was debating with Trump and they were both yelling over each other about who was more pro fracking. Fucking insanity.

Not to mention that her border policy was even harsher than what Trump wanted in his first term. Does anyone else not remember how outraged we all were about the kids in camps being separated from their parents? But when a Democrat does it all of the sudden it’s a good thing? Fuck that.

You are misunderstanding how the system is supposed to work.

We have a responsibility to vote, but no candidate is owed a vote.

The government is meant to execute the will of the people. That’s why we live in a democracy. That means that the government is supposed to work for you. The politicians are supposed to essentially be public workers that are hired via votes of the citizens.

These public workers are supposed to be a reflection of the will of the people. If they don’t match what we want, then they don’t win.

No one is owed our votes. They are supposed to earn it.

That’s not how this works. It is not a voters duty to vote for a candidate. The voter does not owe a candidate votes.

Giving someone your vote is like giving them your personal political power. That’s why the popular vote works.

The responsibility is on the party to put forth appropriate candidates that reflect the will of the people. It is up to them to sell themselves to us, not the other way around.

In a democracy, all power is derived from the will of the people. They work for us. Not the other way around.

It is up to the party to deliver appropriate candidates that will accurately reflect the will of the people.

No one is saying that. It’s just blatant corruption in front of the entire country for everyone to see.

This country will never, ever prosecute a president because it would set a precedent of holding our politicians accountable. Ain’t happening. We’ve all been watching Pelosi do insider trading for decades.

I’m very sick and tired of being punished by the DNC for not falling in line.

Like why did they not make Ruth Bader Ginsberg retire before Trump got into office? How could they have not seen that one coming? Everyone saw that happening apparently except for the DNC.

Same with codifying Roe v Wade. They had many opportunities to codify it and then they supply did not. Now it’s gone.

Same thing with running the oldest presidential candidate of all time. When people started calling for him to step down, the DNC acted like there was so contingency plan for an 80 candidate.

And then it was the same shit when they ran Harris. She was so unpopular in the last primary that she had to drop out before any votes were cast. Then they just skipped the primary and ran her as the candidate anyways. Then she lost.

The DNC acts absolutely hapless.

Acting like I’m the one that doesn’t know what I’m talking about is laughable.

It sounds like you have very little knowledge of any political theory. The basis of democracy is that power HAS TO come from the will of the people. The people exist first, and then we make government. It’s not like someone set up a tent in the middle of a field and people come up and apply to be governed.

If a party is losing elections like this, then it means that they are not representing the will of the people. That means that they are failing at their job, which is to represent and execute the will of the people.

Why else would we pay taxes and give a huge portion of our money to the government? Remember, taxes come from us. The US Government doesn’t magically just have unlimited money. They get money from us, and they are supposed to spend how we tell them to.

You’re talking like we have some sort of set ruling class, and all of us little peasants failed our lords and ladies because we didn’t vote hard enough for them.

That’s an extremely authoritarian view of government that borders on being pro aristocracy. Kind of like feudalism.

Acting fed up with me and like you’re so much smarter than me that you can’t even explain your position is such an amateur attempt at covering up your own lack of knowledge.

Looking at her immigration policy tells you most of what you need to know about her. Look at her stance on the genocide. Look at her stance on the environment and fracking. It’s all the same as Trump.

I don’t know if y’all remember this, but the DNC decided to forgo a primary and forced Harris on us. When she ran in 2020 during the primary, she was so unpopular that she dropped out before any votes were cast.

Why did anyone ever think she would win? It’s almost identical to when the DNC put Hilary up against Trump.

Harris’s platform offered zero solutions to anything. Her entire thing was “brat vibes” and also I support the corporate powers that be even harder than Trump does. She was literally offering a harder border policy than TRUMP.

I’m not exactly sure what you think she was saving us from.

This meme makes me so mad. It completely misses the point that the government is supposed to be working for us. They are here to make our lives better from our collective power. The right to rule is derived from the will of the people. You are misunderstanding how government is supposed to function on an essential level.

Making it out to be the voters fault because we didn’t like the shit sandwich that the were serving us is absolutely incorrect. Harris had zero progressive ideas in her platform. She ran on basically the same platform as the GOP.

As soon as you start putting the onus on the voter, you are putting our politicians up as the aristocracy. You make them into our ruling class. This is incorrect. They are supposed to execute the will of the people.

I’m just absolutely shocked that so many people are acting like the voters failed, when the DNC has done this to us so many times lately.

Why doesn’t the DNC have any responsibility in your point of view?

Blaming the voters is insane. The DNC doesn’t learn from their mistakes and keeps putting up awful candidates that are only there because they will maintain the status quo.

We want progress, not the same shitty economy and no healthcare and no response to climate change.

It is the political party’s responsibility to put up a candidate worth voting for. We do not owe political parties mindless allegiance. You’ve got it backwards.

The government is supposed to work for us, not the other way around.

Harris was always a bad candidate and she had a terrible platform.

Anti universal healthcare, pro genocide, pro fracking. She literally got into a pissing contest during the debate against Trump where she was insisting that she was more pro Israel and more pro fracking than Trump.

The DNC has to put up decent candidates. They have to earn our votes. They are not entitled to them.

Makes sense to me. Tigers are ambush hunters and they love to attack from behind.

Billionaires have such a heavy say in our government that it will never go that way unless it’s forced.
