  • Draymond, you moron.

How many second chances do you think you’re going to get? You keep throwing hands and it’s not just an accident it’s a pattern.

If this doesn’t cook him I’ll be shocked. This is strike fucking a billion, but within the last bit I can think off the top of my head: he threw punches at Poole, chokes Gobert, and now sucker punches Nurkic.

  • It looks to me like Bobby and Masai thought they could build a competitive team without having to tank after the championship. Well, with one year of tanking. It isn’t working.

Building around Scottie is the move, and I get they want to insulate him with other players, but at some point they’re doing a disservice to him and the team as well.

And then the pessimist in me thinks this was all a promise to MLSE because they liked viewership during the run, and the good will it gave them so they asked them to build a perennial winner, which… isn’t really possible anymore unless you can attract big ticket FAs.

All in all, I think they should trade Pascal, as much as I hate to see him go. He’s a proven winner, and a great piece to someone competing.

Then you look at the team make up with piece from there, is the window opening or closing? Is there even a window in sight?

Then work on moving pieces to try to build towards that, but win-now is working the opposite direction.

  • I read the original comic on paperback in black and white, went to launch parties for the releases, then bought it in colour, lost both sets in moves, bought it all in digital form, then again in a physical box set when I settled down. Saw the movie several times in theatres and own the original bluray and then 4K release bluray as well. I also bought Lost at Sea and Seconds as my first gifts to my now wife.

Suffice to say, I’m a fan of the series and the creator.

I fucking loved the new spin on it. So so so much. I loved getting to explore some of the other characters who didn’t get as much spotlight in previous adaptations. I loved the whodunnit we got to explore with Ramona, who is much closer to the Ramona of the books than the movie, and I felt was a welcome change, even if the portrayer (who I still love) was the same. The Easter eggs and hints for the fans of the series were great as well.

The one thing I kept looking for, hoping for, waiting for … where the fuck is Lisa Miller.
