I seem to remember having to download the mods and put them in MO2 manually.

Yeah, just install MO2 in the same wine prefix and it works fine, from what I recall.
Maybe try manually doing it through the desktop mode on the deck.
I’ve not used decky though.
Never considered that before, but I suppose so.

There’s a little crosspost button that will post to multiple places at once.
Hey! You should consider cross-posting this to the Gaming Retrospectives & Video Essays Community at !retrospectives@lemmy.fmhy.ml
Yes, couldn’t replace a community banner for a couple days because of Jason issues. Someone told me just try again the next day because that had worked for them. Worked for me too.
Hmmm… That motion sensor looks suspiciously like the one in Alien Isolation.
Had the early access on Stadia before that went under. So I guess I’m un-preordered now.
If the Hall effect sticks are what youre worried about, II personally haven’t had and stick drift after 2 years, even with kids chucking the things all over. But if It happens I’ll be out $70 I suppose. You might just wait and see if it happens, could save $70 that way.
It has analog triggers. On windows you can even adjust the haptic trigger feedback manually. Plugged in you can even get the inbuilt mic to work through your PC.
The touchpad is pretty useful on PC. Don’t really have any idea why you need it for ps5 stuff, but for PC desktop its great.
Been thinking to get one myself.
We’ve all been there. I remember back in high school scavenging every free-to-play game on the play store. To this day I have no standards for graphics and frame-rates, since I always gamed on old and low-end hardware. Something I didn’t know back then (maybe it wasn’t true back then); there are plenty of great indie games that are dirt cheap and light enough run on old laptops. might have to tailor your tastes in that direction for a while to match your budget. I think there were plenty of this type of game in this post and its comments.
Does it have any real storage capacity?
A cloud gaming device would make a lot more sense, at least then its more than just an expensive accessory for an already expensive console.
So far I don’t understand the idea behind project Q. Does it only work over local WiFi? You can already do this pretty easily with the steam deck.
I think the idea right now is create whatever you think we should have, pump it with whatever content you’ve had in mind, grow it up a bit, then pick some mods to pass it on to.
The Stadia version included both control types. Personally I proffered the gamepad controls.
