  • CCMaker is an (old) tool to download and install Adobe software directly from server without junk. You can even download the installation package offline on your system. No Creative Cloud necessary. During installation you can uncheck the bloat like CoreSync, CAI, CCX Process, UXP WebView Support… CCMaker is not recommended by Reddit, because of “blabla false virus report and we are unable to deal with it”. After installation, you need creating an empty “C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\IPCBox\AdobeIPCBroker.exe” file. Otherwise some programs crash on start. And you need to install Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes (best from abbodi1406). Both things usually comes with Creative Cloud that we avoid at this point. After setup all, simply activate with GenP. No account required, No popup, no “Adobe Genuine Service”, whatever. GenP is currently 3.2.0 Community version (from cg persia. Sadly, I have never seen that forum open for registration), CCMaker is 1.3.16 from ru-board. You should find both fine by searching.

  • This community always made me laugh. When GenP 3 was out (and I am talking about more official sources), Mods refused that it is real for weeks(!). They do not recommend the still superior way to install Adobe with CCMaker. No Creative Cloud, Offline installation, no Anti piracy tools, no account needed. However, they still recommend the Creative Cloud to install programs and users run into Pop-up and trial nags, lol. So, GenP is good, but this Reddit community is no loss at all.

  • Let’s conclude.

I have enabled NSFW content on lemmy.ml and lemmy.world. When I look up specific NSFW content, the results on lemmy.world are way more. Especially for NSFW instances, but also some posts itself. So for some reason, the result on lemmy.ml (and other instance) are censored and filtered. I mean, it’s fine if you don’t look for that content. What makes me wonder is, why there is no information about it when you join an instance.
