It’s probably not as intuitive, but Frigate NVR is way more powerful and, when combined with HA, a very capable platform to get notifications for much more than just motion detection (very powerful object recognition, and now a ridiculously comprehensive sound detection engine as well, as of 0.13.0 beta 1, are some examples). Frigate + HA can more than likely do anything you need from a security camera, and far more than you have ever considered needing.
This is really nice; I second another person’s opinion that it resembles a stumbleupon just for lemmy. Some kind of “Not Interested” button would be a good idea, though I don’t know how feasible that is.
At any rate, it’s a really cool tool, and I appreciate your having made it. I’m excited to see if/how it develops.
