1·1 year agoMy girlfriend and I have played through it takes two multiple times. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Decent length and doesn’t really ever feel stale or overlay difficult.
I ended up getting the omega rubber strap for it and I end up wearing it on that probably 90% of the time because it’s so much more comfortable!
I’ve tried Memmy, Mlem, and Wefwef and so far Wefwef has been the nicest to use coming from Apollo. It’s definitely still buggy but overall it works well.
The official app is also an absolute battery hog on iOS. I installed it to test it out, and started losing 2-3% battery every 10 minutes, even with my phone locked. I deleted the official reddit app and the battery drain stopped immediately. I can’t use an app that’s going to force me to keep my phone attached to the wall all day.
The number of people that were throwing a fit because they couldn’t go for a few days without reading a subreddit that they don’t submit content to was pathetic
They killed off Apollo and there are already Lemmy alternative apps that function much better than the official Reddit app.
Additionally all of the recent controversy showed me how toxic a large part of the Reddit community actually is, and I don’t need to be a part of that now.
1·1 year agoI find that advanced trader mode on Coinbase is cheap enough. Make sure you use that mode and not just normal crypto buying and the fees are significantly lower.
