  • It started as a 4chan prank to trick liberals, but ended up being taken just as seriously by Nazis, KKK, and white supremacists. It was called Operation O-KKK and the plan was to flood Twitter using, and I quote, “basic white girl names” accounts and tweet that the OK sign is a white supremacy symbol.

Later, the OK sign became like a signal to these white power people that you were a sympathizer or member. I don’t know how true this is, but at this point the OK sign were said to represent the letter W and P, for white power.

During this time I remember a lot more memes used by these losers. I think Pepe? I don’t remember much else.

I found Finding Paradise as good, if not better, than To The Moon. I sniffled on the first game, but full on crying for the second one.

The third one is personally meh. I couldn’t sympathize with the conflict. But I can see it touching other people’s hearts. Still glad I bought it, to support the dev.

  • I wanted to reply to you but the thread is hidden. I just wanted to say that I had hopes that the smaller audience could detect nuance but clearly Lemmy people are as arrogant as Reddit.

Thanks 1975 for bringing to light that Malaysia should be ashamed about being backwards. But a lot of people will suddenly feel they need to vote Malay-first parties when they didn’t before, because politics literally forgot LGBTQ+ exists. Malays-first parties is like Whites-first groups, to you who look at us like we’re minority creatures squabbling over words.

I hope the government continues eating nasi lemak and sleeping during parliament. Their laziness will be very useful here. Although it would be nice if one of them says something like “People are people”. 1 Malaysia should include LGBTQ+. Here’s hoping, anyway.
