I just wish they’d bring back the Premium Lite subscription option they piloted in parts of Europe a few years ago. I have no use for YouTube Music and don’t want to pay for it.

You can add Narwhal (iOS) to the list. It’ll continue working as-is for a few months before transitioning to a monthly subscription.

I’ve currently tried Mlem and Memmy, both in TestFlight. Mlem stopped working for me for some reason. I saw the developer has recently stated that he’s stopped working on it, but “the community” will continue its development. Not sure what that means.

Memmy’s interface is still really rough, but at least it uses all the screen space on iPad. It’s still painful not having my two-column view from Narwhal, but I understand why iPad isn’t a priority.
