Yup, it’s a lovely device for the form factor but that’s about it. Don’t get me wrong, I love the steam deck for exactly that reason but were I inclined to game behind a desk I’d 100% go for a midrange desktop. Alternatively the series S can be gotten for 250$ right now which is a whole lot cheaper and will be able to play new releases for years to come at a very reasonable performance level. Why someone would want to get the deck almost exclusively for docked gaming is beyond me.

I still bought it on steam. I’ve been messing with launchers and whatnot but it’s far from hassle free without a bluetooth keyboard.

6 to 10 days projected, got it on the 6th day. I’m from the Netherlands. GLS tracking is shit though, they updated the delivery time to a new date whilst the driver was apparently already en route. Had many issues with gls in the past.
