One bad thing they are doing: pretending the West doesn’t want to destroy them. They still have this naive view of the West and believe they can convince the West to coexist with them peacefully. It’s the same delusion the Russians have bad until 2022. But they are slowly realizing the truth though.

I think the Russian side needs to elaborate. Did all cooperation stop or just a select few? It’s possible some scientists chose to not cooperate due to personal choice. I doubt a change in policy has occurred. If it did, we would also see a shift in rhetoric in Chinese media but nothing has changed.
