That is adorable!
That is adorable!
You may have noticed a slight change to the rules sidebar, which I will explain here. @TheDude, who runs sh.itjust.works, added a set of server-wide rules to abide by. I added a link to the sh.itjust.works main page to the top of the sidebar, where these additional server-wide rules can be double checked at any time, as I don’t have any control over changes to them.
Additionally, I will list them in their present form here:
Be respectful
No bigotry
No Ads or Spamming
No pornography
Pretty simple stuff. We haven’t had any problems yet, but as I promised to clarify any changes to the rules here, I figured I’d best keep my word. Feel free to ask in the post or DM if you have any questions!
Exciting! Might have to tune in and see if they’re up my alley. :)
I’m doing my best to spread the word!
Debut is scheduled for June 14, 2023 on YouTube.
I haven’t heard of OMOCAT before, but I watched the recording and I’m following her now! I love her model design, and she’s very entertaining to listen to.
Thank you for laying things out plainly! I’ll make sure I add a note in my community description to follow server rules first and foremost.
I’m probably the odd one out in that I usually watch smaller artist VTubers. I like watching the creative process and the close knit communities that I become a part of when I’m watching.
All of these VTubers can be found by searching their name on Twitch:
Sylvie is the odd gamer out, the rest are primarily art streams with a few game streams scattered in between. Yoijoe is also primarily a gamer, but has started learning to draw as a part of this artist community, so has a similar mix of art and games streams.
I just started https://sh.itjust.works/c/vtubers. I’m part of a small community of VTubers, and hoping to meet more people and make friends through Lemmy as well.
https://lemmy.ml/c/findacommunity is a place for people to post communities that they mod or enjoy. It’s quiet for now, but I’m trying to spread the word.
So far I’m looking forward to surfing this wave. Sad to see Reddit burn, but at least there are alternatives.
I’m using Jerboa right now, and it feels comfortably similar to Sync. We’ll see how things progress though!
Sync WAS Reddit for me. I tried out the OEM app, and good grief is it awful. If Reddit wants to turn into Facebook, they can do it without me - and, by the sounds of things, without the majority of their main content creators. I’m very sad about the end of an era, but at the same time looking forward to seeing how Lemmy works out.
Thank you for the suggestion, I’ll do that!
I created the https://sh.itjust.works/c/vtubers community just now.
No matter what happens, I think it’ll be fun. I’m not in this for power or for building THE BIGGEST community, I’m looking for a new place to spend my free time now that reddit is imploding. If things go sideways, the delete button exists.
