A ex steam deck player here.
You won’t know how good the trackpads are until you migrate to a platform with a much lousier pad.
Was whining about it until I realised I had a trust steam controller stashed away. All smiles now.

Adding 1 drop of water on the screen? May magnified it haha
The concept is called just noticeable difference. The 7% was sort of taught in my marketing class years ago before internet era but it just hung around in my mind. It probably refers to size or price ratio where we can shift it to shape behaviours without detection
Human detection is kicked in significantly when the difference is more than 7% hence this screen update is surely a notable one!
Kudos to steamdeck
Anyone started testing the plastic polymer chain to see if they differ?
Wonder if any devious minded people order the LE and the non LE
And do swaps of parts before returning 1 of them
This is a hard or software issue?
I have left steamdeck for Legion go but still play my RTS using the steam controller just because that’s how good the trackpads are.
Missing 1 joystick on it.
A steam controller based on steam deck be a godsend for me.
Now I just bring my legion go screen and my SC. Best combi
