Just a dude working on the Jellyfin Roku client while listening to my punk records and watching horror movies.

Yep. That code was merged and released roughly 2 years ago.
Because I wanted to listen to music while doing the dishes.
The Jellyfin Roku client didn’t support audio playback, so I wrote it myself… while learning Roku’s proprietary language 🙄
It’s a quote from the TV show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Ah yes, that’s his signature look. Blonde Chinese hair, with the skin of a hotdog.
It’s awesome.
Honestly, it’s a total disaster.
Blue background guy is Driver from Drive.
(Obscured) is Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber
“Hoodie Guy” is RJ from The Thing
Additionally, there are two more rows of characters you didn’t list.

The one on the right they call… Tim.
This could go well beyond viewership for them.
Growing up we didn’t have the Disney channel. Back then it was a premium, paid channel. So with the options being renting tapes, seeing theatrical releases, or the special weekends where the channel was free, I watched very Disney growing up.
Now, as an adult, I have little connection to their characters, movies, shows, etc. I see others my age making yearly treks to Disney World and I don’t have the same draw. I see people buying Disney merch, and again, I don’t have the same need.
And because I don’t have strong nostalgia feelings for Disney, I didn’t raise my kids on Disney either.
If kids aren’t connecting with the Disney IP, as they grow up, they could end up like me - an adult that spends little to no money with Disney.
And that would be a major disaster beyond viewership for them.
I’m a huge Beetlejuice fan, but I didn’t like this. Similar to how I felt with the musical, this may carry the names of the characters, but it’s not them.
Don’t you have public transport?
No.
This song and History Eraser are in my regular rotation.
Wanted one, but we couldn’t afford it.
Just like the spiral of square post-it notes, the small bags of various chips, the multi color pens, brand name pogs, the pencils that were color on the inside so they looked cool when you sharpened them, and the neon index cards.
And don’t eat
Too too too much fried fooooood
Well, one hopes it does.
Hope they didn’t send this article to print with the typo towards the end.
“5000 world mark”
Hold up. Would you show it?
Bill Murray in top row: John “Bunny” Breckinridge from Ed Wood
