When I was an Android user I found a fantastic free app call Convertbee and it converted pretty much any unit to any other unit you can imagine. It also did currency.
Since I switched to iOS full time I have not found a great replacement. I have been using Units Plus and went to pay for your full version, however it has not had an update in 2+ years and I worry about it being abandoned (looking at you Bean for Lemmy).
Looking for a replacement app available in the US. Thanks.
ETA: I have no issue paying for the app, but absolutely no subscriptions.
Soulver for iPad can do that. It’s very good, but expensive.
notepad calculator app for Mac & iPad that gives instant answers to calculations in your text.
It is a better way to work things out than a traditional calculator, and a more lightweight tool for working through problems than a spreadsheet.

😁 That’d be a trickier task. 😏
There is a free app called Units which seems to convert everything. Been solid for me.
Same here. Hasn’t been updated in 8 years; doesn’t really need to be updated.
Lets you reorder the list so that your most used stuff is on top and hide units that you’re not interested in.
The only thing that bugs me is that sometimes the last conversion hides behind the keyboard. If that’s one I need, I drag it up one and put something else at the bottom.
You can use spotlight to do most of these conversions
I use an app called measures. Has any conversion i need.
The only two apps I see called measures are 4 and 6 years without updates.
Last version : 6y ago. ;-)
This is the one i was talking about. I have used it routinely for years now. Weights, temps, measurements. It is my goto conversion app, but YMMV
Google it… “15euro in usd”, will give answer directly in browser “45cm in inches”, “32kmt in mph” to give some examples…
My S23 default calculator does conversions natively, fwiw. All calculators should IMHO.
Thanks, but looking for something for iOS, as I mentioned in my OP I switched from Android.
You didn’t really grasp the intention behind my comment did you
No I guess I did not, enlighten me.
You might be able to find an app that has a secondary function of unit conversion. That app might be for instance, primarily a calculator.
My intent definitely wasn’t to get you to switch to using an Android lmao.
Sorry for my assumption.
It’s all good mango
