From what I gathered all LE models use a display from a Chinese manufacturer and SE uses one from Samsung. Supposedly the Chinese one is prone to dead pixels and the Samsung is prone to having a greenish tint. No idea how prevalent either issue is though. I haven’t had any issues with my LE.
I don’t see why it would be specific to the LE version…?
Apparently they were using a different manufacturer for the screen for a portion of the LE Steam Decks.
The LE steam decks are shipping with a screen manufactured by BOE.
Mine just arrived and indeed has 3 dead subpixels (2 blue, 1 green)
