Alcohol is a cursed potion that makes you think you’ve increased your Charisma and Intelligence, but it actually decreases Wisdom and Dexterity.
It decreases charisma too
It increases bravery though. This could be important against opponents with high intimidation.
Is that an actual stat boost to bravery, or just a consequence from hit to your wisdom stat?
