We don’t support isis for “fighting” against the US even though we hate it and the level violence committed by isis doesn’t reach the US, and we’re not all out supportive of the Taliban, so our support for the islamic resistance in Palestine isn’t because isr•el. But because we recognize that Hamas, PIJ and the other groups are actually fighting against the occupation and are not extreme.

This is to all the liberals that come here every once in a while and say we shouldn’t be with Hamas because isra°l bad.

This is really worth emphasizing against the caricature that leftists support absolutely any party which could be construed as a counterhegemonic force.

The many differences between Hamas and ISIS really couldn’t be clearer if you actually examine both groups. One problem is that the term ‘terrorist’, at least as commonly used, serves to conflate/equate them.
