I’m in the UK and had a notification my 1tb OLED steam deck was being delivered on Friday 24/11. I waited in and at 1330 hours I get a notification that it’s been delivered with a picture of it handed to a neighbour. The problem is I have no idea where this address is. I’ve asked all my neighbours (knocked on about 20 houses in the end) and no one has it. I phone parcel force and they tell me it was handed to an address in a different road by mistake. So I go there and the address (or door on the picture as its quite distinctive) is no where to be seen. I phone parcel force again and they tell me the driver will go back to retrieve the parcel on Monday. At this point I have little hope of whoever has my OLED actually giving it back to the driver so now I’m £580 out of pocket and no new steam deck. I just can’t get my head around why the package was handed to a random stranger and not taken back to the depot for me to collect. I did not give any permission for this and never do for this exact reason. I just hope someone takes responsibility for this and refunds me the £580. It’s clearly parcel forces fault but I have sent valve support a message telling them what’s happened and not heard back in over 24 hours so far. I just hope someone compensates me as this clearly is nothing I’ve done.

Mine’s due to be delivered today I think. Not Parcel Force but GLS from what I can tell. It’s come from the Netherlands initially. I’m in all day so there’s that at least.

Fingers crossed it arrives in one piece.

It’s a subsidiary (I think) of parcel force as I had a GLS notification too. Either way I hope you have no issues mate
