So stoked to get started on it, currently in the planning stage, haven’t decided what stitch, yarn, or weight I want to use yet, but I’m pretty sure im going to use the daily High Temp. Not currently a part of any communities would love it if Lemmy had a crochet instance, but i dont have the mental capacity to create and moderate it, currently just watching YouTube tutorials to learn. I’ve only completed 2 shawls and a head band so far, but i just started a sweater vest with Caron Jumbo’s peacock yarn using V stitches. First time winging it on a piece, so excited!!!
Have you checked out crochet!crochet@lemmy.ca? They seem pretty active. And if you ever get into knitting, there is !knitting@lemmy.world. I’m so excited for you, I know that feeling when you are thinking of a big project, and it’s starting to become reality!
