Gibt es zu diesem Thema denn wirklich nichts zu sagen?
I suppose this is following recent policy changes on Reddit and the current trend of migrating to Lemmy. The issue with Lemmy being federated is that there is going to be a shitload of individual initiatives ot create instances on random Lemmy instances, with little to now coordination with modding team of the original reddit sub… It’s going to be total chaos when there’s 15 different r/Switzerland clones, and it I’ll in the end do a disservice to any serious attempt at making people migrate from Reddit to Lemmy. Please be aware of this.
Also, Switzerland being quadri-lingual, it would make much more sense that the default language on Switzerland sub on Lemmy be international-english rather than german (especially with the number of foreigners curious about this country asking questions on r/Switzerland over the years). Let’s proceed in a smart way here :)
Why did you choose kbin.social rather than lemmy.ml for instance?
difference between kbin and lemmy is being discussed here: https://kbin.social/m/RedditMigration/t/12361/Difference-between-kbin-and-lemmy
