Yeah climate change isn’t making Nunavut more livable either

Yukon would be a much better pick

What happens when Elon Musk decides to buy your home and you become a serf?

Or your house gets destroyed by a hurricane?

Or when the billions of other refugees are pounding in your door?

Look, maybe a few million people can survive in the upper latitudes but it isn’t going to be nice. You aren’t going to be comfortable or happy or safe. You might live. That’s it. Is that good enough for you?

I didn’t know money mattered so much when there’s nowhere to spend it.

Or your house gets destroyed by a hurricane?

        😂

The billions who “aren’t going to be comfortable or happy or safe.”?

You aren’t going to be comfortable or happy or safe.

        Nice projection.

Is that good enough for you?

Yeah, actually. I don’t ask for much. Have you lived in a major city all your life?

I didn’t know money mattered so much when there’s nowhere to spend it.

Money is just a means of exchange, he’s going to exchange it for something with value. Y’know, like how Bill Gates is investing in farm land.

The billions who “aren’t going to be comfortable or happy or safe.”?

The ones fleeing much worse conditions father south? The ones that will do anything for a chance at a better life than what they can get in equatorial hell. You know, like how Hamas just showed us the most high tech border wall with the most high tech army on earth can be overcome with low tech and some bravery.

          You will never be safe.

Yeah, actually. I don’t ask for much. Have you lived in a major city all your life?

I live in rural Iowa, but it’s not going to be like that.

It’ll be more like Libya, but wetter and cooler. Cross that with New York or Tokyo or any other megacity, with everyone who can make it legally cramming themselves in to a tiny land.

Hope you like having your family kidnapped and sold into McSlavery.

Honey you’re the one imagining you’re going to be fine. Nothing bad ever happens, right? Not to you. You’re special! You’ll be just fine. 🙄

                  Well what’s that then??

That’s you saying you’re going to be fine, you’re a humble good ol boy who don’t need no fancy cities. You’ll be just fine growing all your own food in Nunavut.

You keep saying you’ll be safe from billions of refugees, from billionaire tyrants, from hurricanes, from food shortages, from instability, that you’re “moving somewhere safe”

And then you smugly dismiss all criticism and lol at everyone who points out how braindead this is.

                  You won’t be safe.
