Why the downvotes on the CNN article?
Voting is intended to reflect its contribution to the discussion, not that you agree with the contents or message.
It’s basically just the story of a black entrepreneur.
Maybe because of centralization? The article is fine though.
But…I kinda agree with the downvoters. I think federation is the real way to create safe spaces for people. Centralization just does not seem like the way.
Having a minority founder doesn’t inherently mean the site will be safe. Everyone has biases and prejudices.
Likely just for mentioning Musk
In a way, I envy people like this. When being laid off, he immediately starts to work on something else instead of taking time off and relaxing like I would myself.
But I think it’s fairly insane to always be working. I like being lazy.
