Very resourcefriendly and feature-rich replacement for i3status, written in pure Rust.

It’s now my favorite. Highly customizable, with a lot of blocks by default. Theming and icons included. 😎

    Among the features I most enjoy

    • Easy to create blocks as trivial as slotting in bindings for scripts that output text or JSON
    • Blocks can be bound to update in response to signals rather than polling
    • Separate scripts can be bound to individual mouse buttons

    EG a block that shows a headphones/speaker icon depending on what is active, which is

    • updated when you switch ports or change volume
    • clicking switches between ports
    • scroll up/down switches volume
    • right click brings up the mixer
