A couple weeks ago, I remarked that Netflix now felt like it was “actively stealing time from me.” I can almost not even remember which cancelation I was talking about at the time, given that there have been so many, but I believe it was 1899

    I agree with this article, and this loop is definitely why Netflix has seen drops in subscriber counts, as its difficult emotionally to get into a show that you know may be cancelled and the story never resolved or completed.

      For sure. I’ve definitely decided not to start watching a Netflix show because I think it’ll get canceled before wrapping up

    Absolutely. I just rewatched Travellers and can’t believe that got cancelled. You reminded me about 1899 as well 😕
