as long as you don’t purchase it from a carrier then yeah it should be possible. though they have been going a weird direction with their OS lately, I don’t see why they’d remove that feature
Thanks, that’s good to know. I’m a bit disheartened that support for OnePlus devices has dwindled a fair bit, but if it can be rooted I can still debloat it/add apps and features to it, so that’s OK!
Even the OnePlus 11? I’m looking for a De-Googled experience, but with some features of Graphene (multiple accounts, ability to run some Google apps - I’d like to use Google Maps)
It can, but it can’t uninstall system apps like the Play store or Google services. Just disable them at best.
With that said, once I root my device, I can install Magisk, actually debloat it and maybe install some other apps. I’m looking forward to purchasing a cheap device and experimenting!

Exactly. Oneplus had ruined its market for custom roms by taking away the software that made it possible.
