The writers strike was over at the end of September.
These “Hollywood bosses” have names, especially in this case. Ryan Smith, Allen Cheney and Alec Baldwin as the studio representative on set. Of course these guys don’t have any interest in the people behind their productions, because why should they? There isn’t any incentive, “just fire the whiners and hire some new ones, there are still millions of people who will sacrifice their own children just to be a movie star.”
