This might be a bit old now, as it start up a few weeks ago, but it’s an alternative to gup.pe groups, with the key difference that it allows an admin to manage to group membership. Could be worth talking to the dev for an interview
This looks really good. In my testing, it seems to work with Pleroma, which is something gup.pe never got working. And I like that the mod is able to manage the group and change the avatar/description. It’s weird they can’t change the banner image though; that seems like an arbitrary restriction so I’m assuming the dev just hasn’t gotten to it yet.
I can’t find chirp groups from lemmy. I don’t know if that’s a lemmy or chirp issue, but it’d be cool to be able to follow chirp groups from lemmy or post to a chirp group from lemmy.
The design could use some work to make posts easier to read, but overall this looks like a great addition.
I haven’t played with it first hand myself yet, as I don’t want to end up admining a group, but I’m hoping we’ll see more groups formed on it that I can join
