So sick of threats. He was told to keep his mouth shut. He hasn’t. Time for him to see consequences for his actions.

I do kinda get being cautious, don’t want to give him any grounds for appeal, but this is so blatant. He literally doxxed the prosecutor, how can they not hold him in contempt.

I am looking forward to watching the logistics play out of imprisoning Trump along with his Secret Service detail.

One wonders if he’ll need a whole floor of cells for his entourage.

Oooh, so like prisoners are charged for for their upkeep and tfg’s ss detail was billed at double or more usual rates at his properties, we’re going to charge those excesses for ss upkeep?

I’m just floored that the judges issuing these gag orders don’t just take 15 extra minutes to add in some legal clauses that make it clear that shenanigans/“uWu I didn’t know I couldn’t do that”/“it was an accident I swear!” bullshit is not going to be considered a valid defense. This boundary-pushing shit needs to be smacked down with a fucking sledgehammer.

He’s said he’s happy to go to jail and I believe him.

I’m not saying it shouldn’t happen but if it does it will grow and solidify support for him even more and whilst he’s very far from a smart man, he’s cunning enough to know this and use it.

To a point, that’s true. But it will also convince the easily swayed. Definitely in enough numbers to get re-elected if there’s a repetition of voter behaviour of 2016. I just really hope everyone who can, votes. Or, failing that, he gets sent down for life.

At this point I have to assume he’s bought the judges off. Why else do they refuse to uphold the rules.

We hear about all of the bad behavior and warnings, but many people don’t realize it’s all happening in a number of cases. Warnings from one trial don’t generally carry over to a different trial.

Cannon in FL is not paid off. She’s doing it for free because she’s a MAGA idiot.

Chutkan is being fair but somewhat cautious/gracious to avoid an appeal if (when) Trump gets convicted for J6.

Engoron - the one in the article - is an old school republican. But he’s also an old school judge. His pretrial rulings have been swift and fair. He seems to understand Trump is full of shit, and he’s also not just rubber stamping everything the prosecution requests.

There’s plenty wrong with our legal system, but none of these judges have been bought off.
