I’ll watch that when I’ve been awake more than five minutes, but the question that immediately comes to mind is why do governments collect taxes at all? Sure, they could just print money to pay for everything, but I can see some problems with that approach.
Extremely outdated economic model. I can’t believe the money printers brring like crazy during the pandemic didn’t make people realize that inflation and recessions are a choice, and they can make-believe the economy into being healthy if they really want it to be.
Not to get too Marx in here, but as long as people are generating value and it’s getting distributed reasonably, everything else is secondary.

It would be the solution, though. Redistribute excess to those who have less because there is no egregious excess without egregious poverty.
