Don’t be a coward. Come on. Live a little. Put some dried cranberries IN the brownie batter and then bake it.
You deserve something tasty. Yes, you. You’re a gorgeous creature, and I love you.

Cranberry in a nice bikkie is always good too. I once made cranberry and pistachio biscotti and it disappearared almost as soon as I’d baked it.
I’ll put raisins and cranberries because I love them both, and there’s nothing you can do to stop me
I would never dream of it - you’re making great choices.
I will never change my brownie habits! Never! Mine are made into bites and stored in the freezer. But i will eat a brownie you hand me
Dried cranberries are just wannabe tart cherries. Skip straight to the good stuff.
I love cherries, but baking with them is so much work! Do you have a good trick for pitting them? I’ve tried the chopstick-and-bottle method, but it’s too messy for me, I’d rather just cut them.
Cherry pitters are a game changer! You can get one for under 10 bucks. Used one to make my own bourbon cocktail cherries, super quick.
I once made a kinda gluten free stollen loaf with ground pecans, walnuts and dried cranberry. That was my favorite Christmas treat and I’m gonna have to make it again this year.
🤩 Would you please share pics and the recipe when you do?
While on the topic of fruit in baked goods, oranges inside brownies is super tasty. Just some canned mandarin orange slices or something, put inside the batter, delicious.
I love the sound of this! How do you adjust the other liquids? Or do you?
I just add some orange extract to the batter, and before baking put an orange slice on top. If I’m feeling fancy adding some zest on top of the frosting after baking it adds some nice color.
This seems like one of those jokes about white people putting raisins in potato salad. That said, I’m white and that cranberry brownie sounds amazing.
I will shamefully confess to being white. That being said, this idea was born from altering 7-layer bars to better suit someone who hates coconut - sub cranberries 1:1 for the coconut in the recipe. It’s so good, idk why it’s not the standard.
Of course there’s a tool for it 🤦 thanks for the tip!
