You study before deployment; street names, directions, landmarks, ect.

Do you think people were pausing the game to pull up the map screen and check their quest markers? 🙄

I use Google Maps to drive to the mall. Yes, if I was a soldier barreling through a wall into rural areas miles away, I’d carry maps. Soldiers frequently carry maps. Why wouldn’t a terrorist carry a map?

The cognitive dissonance people are using to defend Hamas…

I’m willing to bet you could find the mall if it was life-or-death.

Why would they carry intelligence into an operation with an extremely high likelihood of being caught or killed? That’s just bad opsec.

          Life or death for me?

probably. but I’d still rather have a map.

life or death for dozens of children?

probably. but I’d very strongly prefer to have a map.

but if you’re asking me to put myself in a child-murderer’s shoes, gee, it’s hard to say.

this terrorist was not in opsec, he’s not part of some intelligence organization, he’s some schmuck with a gun who’s been convinced that killing schoolchildren and getting killed in return is righteous, that it’s going to get him a supreme reward in heaven. The PA will pay his family for decades in celebration of his death. But he’s still afraid to die. He’s a human. He just got caught up in the evil you can’t accept is possible.

He brought a map so that, when he was stuck running away from the atrocities he committed. He wanted to make sure he could find the exit, run in the right direction, find the part of the wall he broke in through. Find them if he has a hostage with him.

people use maps. soldiers use maps. Of course terrorists use maps. Maps are not a fucking conspiracy!

This is just racism. Hamas has operational security. How do you think they planned this operation over 2 years and pulled it off?
