The country most probably the author of such an attempt has to:

    1. Be a direct beneficiary of another country’s gas reserves dwindling

    2. Believe in its own impunity/immunity

    3. Be gasping for money.

    4. Be in the region.

    5. Be ruled by a megalomaniac and a bunch of assholes

    Yes, it’s Russia.

I hope they will fill Ukraine to the brim with all possible weapons as a reaction. Like anything they want, as much as they want, and then some more. Get fucked putler.

I don’t see how attacking them back directly would be a good idea in the slightest. What I realistically expect from this is more NATO presence in the sea, making it harder to move unnoticed and perform such sabotage and maybe indirectly have the effect of more support for Ukraine.

Where’d you get that Russia did it? There was an article going around some time ago that Ukraine special ops (or some sort of tactical strike team, not good with these military terms) did it. That does make sense, why would Russia destroy their own pipeline? They were still hoping Germany would change its mind under economic pressure. With it destroyed no chance of selling to Germans any time soon since it’s now phisically impossible.

Edit: found it https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/06/06/nord-stream-pipeline-explosion-ukraine-russia/ Edit2: my bad. different pipes
